Lots of good stuff from Dibaba at the press conference today here:
http://www.iaaf.org/news/news/monaco-diamond-league-2015-lavillenie-taylor
Dibaba says she's totally changed her training and realizes she'd has great natural speed so she's excelled by simply focusing on distance work.
And there is good news for Jenny Simpson fans, Dibaba may not run the 1500 at Worlds.
“I haven’t yet made a final decision about whether to double up in Beijing,” she said. “I’ll speak to my coach after the race tomorrow and then we’ll decide what to do. If I had to pick one event, I would focus on the 5000m. My preparation has been geared more for that event, so physically and mentally I’m ready to run that event.”
Monaco Presser - Dibaba thinks she can go faster than 3:54!! "Last week I ran 3:54 and it felt comfortable,”

who?

“Last week I ran 3:54 and it felt comfortable,” said the two-time world indoor champion. “Tomorrow I’m looking to run faster. I don’t know how much faster, but I’m going to go for it."
I'm predicting that Jenny S. gets towed along to an AR tomorrow. -
sub 3:50?

So Makhloufi unexpectedly kicks ass at the Olympics and thus must be doped to the gills, says the average LetsRun poster.
Now this woman, with the same coach, is running out-of-this world video game times - "clean world records!!!" chant the LetsRun crowd.
What a confusing bunch this is.
If anything, Dibaba is MORE doped than whatever Chinese woman ran that crazy 3:50. The less attention given to her the better. Hopefully she'll get popped soon (unlikely) or will crash and burn and then retire at "23" or whatever bogus age was given to her by her federation. -
sub 3:50?
Since we all know Ma's Army was squeaky clean and always ran the correct distances, that record is past due for a right hiding by today's even cleaner runners. -
Genzebe you are my fantasy league team captain unlike everyone else who picked Gatlin, because you said you were going for it... in which case the 3:56.97 meet record is toast, at the very least.

I know thou trollest us, but reply is in the offing:
Which Chinese mangirl had a world record-holding multiple world-champion sister? Maybe all? Were thjey all sisters. growing up at 2800' elevation in acountry known since 1960 for it's distance prowess? Or were they transgendered robots running off of strategically erroneous starting marks in their home country, a totalitarian regime hungry for athletics success on the world level?
Proffer some counterargument for genetics + tradition (not completely negating dope, but Ma's army spared no avenue for cheating, so all is relative)
