Not bad. He kicked faster than when he did when he ran 27:27. Too bad they didn't start out faster.

Why not try for the Canadian record or something? Good time, but could've been better.

No he didn't. Not even close.
Juan Barrios 27:34 FTW (56 last lap), Cam didn't really kick, but didn't look to be pressing. 27:36 to complete his goal of a commonwealth qualifier. Cam interviewed saying he did want the win but saying leading so much took a little out of him. Kithuka running well not to far behind I'll let you know his time when I see it

He finished in 55-56 when he ran his 27:27. Tonight was closer to 58 for Levins last 400m. Nothing really special. Too bad everyone lacked the confidence to run the way the ladies did.
4 guys at 27:36 holy crap, mustve been a scene
Great run for Kipchirchir.

When he ran 27:27 he only ran his last lap in 59 didn't he?

Oh yes that's right, never mind
No, he had the monster kick back in 2012. We haven't seen it since.
Second heat going out faster than the first heat.
Also, wtf Puskedra?
Poor Kithuka- first Cheserek in cross, now pipped by Shadrack.

Yeah. We certainly didn't see it with Lagat in that 2000. Nor did he kick in WC 3000 much.
what happened to the collegiate 5k (Saarel, etc)? is that later or did I miss something?

Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
