HASSAN MEAD TOO!!! 13:02!!!!!
HASSAN MEAD TOO!!! 13:02!!!!!
I was about to start a thread with basically the same name, except it would have had more exclamation points.
But seriously, holy shit--two guys on AR watch for this summer, and about three more on sub-13 watch.
If Ben is running that kind of time this early, Galen is not on his own this summer. Big races from Ben and Hassan this evening.
Awesome race across the board. Pacers did fantastic and everyone came ready to roll. GREAT win for True and Hassan Mead? Who saw that coming? Great way to start off the track season!
that awkward moment when you run your best time of the season at the first meet....
I saw it coming. See other thread. I predicted True in 13:02.

The dude that nipped True at the finish line of the BAA 5k said True could go under 13:00.

Haha fair point, you think he meant in May though?
Hey, I have to pat myself on the back on this one.
i think he was referring to True having that capability already, basing it off of True's chilly morning performance that day.
Damn. Thought he would win, didn't think it would be that fast. Big race for Andy Vernon and Hassan Mead too
shut up, i bet you haven't even broken 16 loser

Great result for Andy Vernon, now 6th in British all-time rankings.
Didn't see that one coming
All the Schumacher guys are fun to watch but they almost never win races against equal competition. None of them can kick over the last 200 except Hill and Lomong. It's nice to have another two Americans to root for that can actually compete for wins (Hassan and True). Solinsky and Teg were great in track but would rarely win.
this hassan guy has a huger wiki bio than some recent OG champs !!!
someone prune it down as you don't deserve that many bytes until you win a biggie or run 12'40 !!!
Ben True is a gamer. Second-best American gamer, behind only Lagat... well, maybe Meb is up there too.
I wish he had kept xc skiing....
