The Brit (Gorecka - Jan. 1994) ran 15.07, which is even more impressive. Too bad she isn't in the NCAA , no one offering her a scholarship?

So, she is still 19. That is pretty standard. I would say that most freshman were born between Nov 94 and June 95. Anyways, is that a new AJR? Didn't Huddle have it at 15:36??

Yes, Huddle has the record.

But you can't turn 20 in the calendar year. So she's ineligible for junior record given her November bday.

That being said, Finn is faster as a 19-year old than Huddle.

Huddle ran 15:36 at age 18 and 15:32 at 19.

Well, 15:11.13 would still put her 3rd on that list, and #2 is from New Zealand, so it probably means #2 US Collegian.

Aisling is Irish and it is generally pronounced "Ash-ling" or "Ash-lin". I believe Cuffe is pronounced "Cuff".

Anyways, nice work - Aisling Cuffe! I had a great time witnessing the record and the entire meet!

Amazing run by Cuffe. I've seen Cuffe run a few times in high school, and always thought that her college career has not yet matched her high school career until now. This was a breakthrough performance for her in my opinion, and was great to see her finally have a really solid performance in the 5k!

Also would like to say that she seems like a great person - very modest and humble, so I'm very happy for her.
