If she was sick ok so then why is Coach H saying "The good news is that NC State’s other star is all systems go. Katelyn Tuohy, who on Saturday will attempt to become the first woman in 12 years to win back-to-back individual NCAA cross country titles, is in the shape of her life, according to Henes.

You don't tell people she has been sick, but you also don't tell the media she is in the best shape ever

Because they are not inconsistent. She came in ready but got sick. Not sure why that is so complicated. And again, a coach is not going to say that their athlete is sick or injured before a race.

Pretty sure this is the moment Sam Bush was talking about in her interview when Tuohy almost passed out and went to the medical area.

Henes mentioned KT was sick in the last one and half days. It means she had done all the workouts, feeling great and probably in the best shape of her life. Then somehow she got sick right before the race, either something unexpected or sort related to the development of Chmiel, which Henes wouldn’t want to disclose because that would give the competitors some advantage to target her in the race. Well, strategy is a hard game, and it is not supposed for anyone to interpret or understand.

She was one of the favorites and the defending champ, so of course you are going to hear about it.

You and her fans are using her supposed illness as some sort of explanation for her lower than expected finish. How about if we just conclude that the 4 women that beat her were just better today. Give them some respect.
