Stephen Sambu, the former Arizona star, continued his fine 2014. After pacing Galen Rupp to his American record at 10,000m and running 26:54.61 himself, Sambu took to the roads in Boston and beat Geoffrey Mutai.

However, here he shocked Kipsang, beating him by 8 seconds to win in a CR 60:17. Kimetto was way back in 3rd (1:01:42) and Edna Kiplagat dominated the women’s race in 68:52.
