Women’s 5K: LRCSifan Hassan Goes Sub-15 To Win As Katie Mackey Runs 15:04 – Stanford’s Aisling Cuffe Is The 3rd Fastest Collegian Of All-TimeHassan ran a world-leading time of 14:59.23 while Bahta was second in 14:59.49. Leading the Americans was Mackey in 15:04.74, just beating out Laura Thweatt (15:04.98). But the highlight of the race was Stanford’s Aisling Cuffe setting a new school record and moving herself to #3 all-time in the NCAA with a 15:11.13.
Mid-D Action: LRCElise Cranny’s #2 All-Time 4:10.95 High School 1,500 Highlights Cranny is now the second-fastest high schooler of all time as she blew away Jordan Hasay‘s 4:14.50. Only Mary Cain‘s NR of 4:04.62 is faster. In other events, Eliud Rutto had a breakthrough 1:45.37 victory in the 800, Karine Belleau-Beliveau beat Treniere Moser in the women’s 800, Riley Masters won the men’s 1,500 (3:38) and Billy Nelson and Shalaya Kipp got steeplechase wins.
