3:38 third place tonight with a 56 last lap behind a couple of pros.
Can any American collegian besides Fleet match up with Kidder's 1:46/3:38 PBs?
I can't think of one offhand. And Kidder is a true soph while Fleet is a redshirt senior.
Should be a major factor in 2016.
Kidder, unlike past PSU 1500 boys, won't sh\it the bed at Nationals. He's the real deal. A great prep runner who made the step up to college without a hitch. He has a cool head on his shoulders, and lets his running do the talking. A class act. This is a coach's dream.
There are soo many times in the past 5-6 years under the new system where there athletes have run amazing from indoor to USA's. Any program with as much talent and depth will have a few of the kids not run at 100% all year but PSU does better than most at keeping the kids running fast and competing well through nationals.
isn't this opposite the opinion most hold about PSU?

They came through went it mattered last year with Loxsom and Kidder going 2-3 at the NCAA 800.
And Creese made the 1500 final at NCAA's and placed 6th last year as well.
