Really?? That's laughable. Hopefully you're joking. Pretty much everyone would agree if he time trialed London, Berlin, or Chicago he would run around 2:05. His PR came from the trials, his first and only marathon, which he won by a fair amount, in the heat of LA. He pretty much looked like he jogged and did all he needed to in order to win. 15th-20th? Maybe if he's sick or injured... Otherwise it's top 5 for sure.
No one agrees with your ass-umption of a 2:05 time trial. What will you do when Rupp fails to get top five? How about fail top 10? How about DNF? You don't seem to be mentally prepared for a major letdown. And you fail to understand that there are a lot more sub 2:05 marathon time-trialers than 5 in the world. Do you really think Rupp could get away time trailing London, Berlin, or Chicago while the other runners didn't?
