Kinda know the answer to this already but gonna throw it out there . . .
Hoping to run a sub 3 hour marathon in a few months, all stats from 10 mile races etc are on this tradicatory - all going well. I overpronate. My line up of shoes is the asics stability range - kayano, ds trainer, ds racer. I've never had an issue with these. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, but I tried. I liked the idea of Vapour Flys, picked up some Nike Peg turbos in December as prep & just back from injury (6 weeks out) as a result.
Am I doomed never to wear a of super duper shoes like Vapourflys without injury? They look a lot less stable than peg turbo? Or does the carbon plate make them more stable?
What fancy pants new % saving shoes are stable for overpronators?
*Ps - Firm believer hardwork is like 99% the key to success with this goal, but hey, everyone likes new shoes ?
