Next man may be Kibiwott Kandie, 23yo and not ranked. Won a half in Lille six weeks ago in 59.31, his PB. In June, won a 10k in Morocco in 27.56.

Ninth woman might be Stacey Ndiwa, 26yo and ranked 28. PB of 67.16 in coming 4th here last year. PB at 10k was winning Houilles in 2017 in 31.35.
Tenth over the line could be Moses Kurong, 25yo and ranked 90. His best was in Copenhagen two years ago, 59.50. he was only 19th there last month. Here is my profile from then:
Ninth over the line should be Moses Kurong of Uganda. He is 25yo and ranked 89. He was 6th here two years ago in 59.50. Was fourth in Goteborg in May in 61.07 and last year third in Barcelona in 60.10.

The winner, I believe, will be Eric Kiptanui, 29yo and ranked 41. His best time was in winning Berlin last year in 58.42, still the equal 8th best performance over the distance. He was disappointing in March in Lisbon, 21st after returning there as the defending champ. Eric is one of 29 listed as pacemakers for the Ineos 1.59 challenge.
Firmed as solid favourite here after his outstanding three sessions as captain of three of the pacemaking teams at INEOS. I believe he could get within twelve seconds of Kamworor's record here.

Fifth woman may be Edith Chelimo, 33yo and ranked 18. Won Cardiff half in 2017 for her PB of 65.52. Was also quick in Valencia last year, third in 66.18. 10k best is 31.07 in 2016 when winning Brunssum. In 2017 won over 20k at Marseille Cassis in 65.58, taking 64 sec off the CR. Took 35.07 for the first half, then ran 10k to 15k in 15.01. That is 15.01. What woman can run that halfway through a 20k race?
Also ran the fastest 8th in the world this year in Houston in January, 67.56. Two of the Kenyans who beat her that day both took more than a minute off their previous bests.
Next woman may be Sandrafelis Tuei, 21yo and ranked 38. More info soon.

Her PB is 68.13 for third in Lisbon in March. Was 12th last month in Copenhagen in 70.24. In August was 2nd at the Beach to Beacon in 31.37 after winning it the previous year in 31.21. Jan 2018 won a 10k in Valencia in 30.57.
Next finisher may be the other Moses, Moses Kibet. Needs a big improvement from last month in Copenhagen, though. He is 22yo and ranked 60. Also a very good steepler, with a best time of 8.37.11. More tomorrow.
Halfway through the 21st profile, so six more to write tonight, my time.

Next finisher may be Moses Kibet, 22yo and ranked 61. Last year he won a 10k in Langueux in 28.26 after a last km sprint over 6 others.
His PB for the half is 59.58 when 2nd in Yangzhou in April.

Next woman may be Yalemzerf Yehualaw, 20yo and not ranked. PB when winning Rabat in April of 69.13.
Next finisher could be John Langat, 22yo and ranked 64. Not to be confused with the 26yo John Langat who was third in the Eindhoven marathon last Sunday. The John running in Delhi has a PB of 60.24 from Vento last year. More in a minute.
Start should be about 9:30 P.M. Saturday Night New York Time, 6:30 California Time.

He was 11th at Copenhagen last month then a week later second over 10 miles in 46.20 at the Dam Tot Damloop.
Alright, let’s finish this. 13th woman is Hawi Feysa on debut. Feysa is 20yo and ranked 11 as a 5000 track runner. Finished 8th in the Doha final of that event. Only road race was in 2017 in France, 15k in 50.09 for fourth. That was five weeks after being the World cross country runner up.
14th finisher is my last and could be Afewerki Berhane, 23yo and ranked 162. PB of 61.17 in France in 2017.
30 min until it starts
CR is 59.06, 12 sec behind the WR would be 58.13. Let’s see if he is THAT good?
