Possible but where is the proof that they used EPO. Hard training combined with good genes also can reap its rewards.

Athletics won't even be a thing in 50/60 years.
Ever is too long. However even within the next year it's possible someone will break a world record and that person could certainly be non-African.

If Ngeny and Lagat were using EPO then you’d have to say the same for Rudisha. Saying the 1500 is unbreakable is like saying Kipketers 800m was unbreakable. The fact that Kiprop came within 3/4 second of it shows that it is not unbreakable
Do you know what Kiprop was on?
He could have been on a lot of stuff, but he tested positive for rocket fuel.
Mo Farah holds the indoor 2 mile WORLD RECORD.
And he's EUROPEAN.

"Not really."- Kiprop
You mean a male and between 3000 & marathon? Also, I assume you meant hold a record again...since there were plenty who have held all of the records.
I think you as well as anyone know that whenever there is better doping control and when there is more interest in distance running again by non Africans that there will be more records by non Africans. Pretty simple.
Does any male hold any running record sprinting or distance that does not have their family roots from Africa?

Isn't his ethnicity East Africa?

Everyone is of African descent.

I think not. Discus.
Yes, you are probably right. Even though the current Discus records are both held by Germans, the best mark is a mere 74 meters. They say the last 2926 meters are the toughest.
+1
yeah,i think peruvians, ecuadorians and bolivians could be athletes to watch out for, mongolians as well.they may never break records,or beat the east africans, but they could be up there.

Yes when the Italians arrive in La Paz, they will finally benefit from "proper training."
No love for the race walkers?

Julien Wanders has already been mentioned.
Correct question:
"Will a clean athlete ever hold a world record 3000m and up?"
Fixed.
The Sherpas or Andean people might have an off chance in ultras or mountain running. Otherwise their somewhat stocky built is a liability.
The advantages of the East Africans are based on the combination of altitude AND fairly hot climate therefore the extremely lanky anatomy of the Nilotes and related populations.
When the Himalayan dwellers learn to run them world records will be toast.
The "sherpas" got a mutation that is very good. Those in south america dont. I agree about the stocky built. Thats why they might do better as blade runners
