I am 32 years old. A little over 10 years ago I ran a 3:59 mile. A few months before I had run a 2:24 marathon. After that mile I literally didn't run another step for probably 6 years. I am currently in about 25 minute 5k shape. A co-worker of mine has recently taken up running and is talking a lot of trash. He recently ran our local mile road race in 6:48 and challenged me to beat him next year.
I probably can't commit to running more than 4 days a week, think it's possible for me to be in 6 minute shape a year from now?
