All of our public universities have the same name. The University of Wisconsin!
I hope you understand that a final leg of anything slower than 3:57 would have not qualified the badgers for nationals. Congrats that the guy who ran 40% of the race saved your butts. Wisco is still going backwards, this just covers up part of the wound.
And yet you could have said the same thing for 99% of the other teams. Stanford had a guy run 1:50.0 and Brown split 1:47 to get them back in the race.
I was down on the Badgers a few weeks ago but they have run some incredible times. The third best DMR in the country and somebody is questioning their distance crew because the distance leg of it ran a crazy leg?

Does Stanford have a weak distance squad like Wisco? Has Stanford done exceptionally well at Nations in the last 3 yrs?
Wisco qualifiers for nats
Ollie H 3k
DMR team
Morgan M (if he wasn’t in Australia)
I won’t deny that their top end talent is amazing, but the fact of the matter is that the program use to produce more qualifiers and champions.

Exactly!
Did anyone see the race at Alex Wilson? Joe Hardy has to figure it out. If he runs like that again, Mick will tell Oliver to jog a 4:10 so he can run a fresh 3k. Calling wisco gets no trophies in the DMR.
Conference weekend action
Wisconsin: Big Ten Conference
UW-Parkside: GLVC
WIAC Championships
UW-Milwaukee: Horizon League

Exciting weekend on tap. Time to put it all together. Anybody have any bold predictions for this weekend. Teams, individuals, favorites, dark horses. Let’s hear it.
Badger men will get a win the mile, 3rd in 3k, 5th in 5k, 4th in 800, and 1st in DMR.
Great run by Wisco.
30 seconds? Not this year. Last year Cardinal Stritch ran 9:46.70 though.

What are you hearing about all of your underperforming DIII Eagles?
I am sick of this trash talking, chastising and undercutting.
Marquette should race against UW-La Crosse at Drake both in the 4x800 and DMR to settle this but my guess is Nelson doesnt have the balls to do it because if he loses there goes the recruiting war.

Marquette would have a decent 4x8 if they went Miller-Peterson-Eagan-Miller. The other two doofs cost them easy points here.
