Ok LR Sleuths, we have a challenge. I understand that the kid racing here isn't exactly the best athlete in the world, but i think we could all agree that The Freeze (blue masked man) has some serious legs. His form looks like he is a serious runner with some serious training. I want you all to find who this man is. My best guess is that he is somehow linked to the city of Atlanta. Perhaps this is the only job someone can get after a drug suspension.
Who is the Freeze? (Braves masked runner)

Per Steve Gelbs of SNY: "His name is Nigel Talton. He's a grounds crew member. Track star in college. In 2010, broke 23-year-old record in the 100m at Iowa Wesleyan."
-
Next thing we know we'll be seeing an article about some local college runner loosing NCAA eligibility for getting paid to race scrubs between innings.

You should cross-post that over in the post about Millennial males opting to not attend college. Grounds crew member? I guess he decided to put The Freeze on his own earnings. -

I disagree with the original post. That guy racing freeze was pretty fast and looked great until he fell.

Looks a little like green man from a distance.

Was this the Arnold schwartzenaegur mr. Freeze?
-
I don't know who he is, but he's definitely age cheating and doping.

"Enter “The Freeze,†tasked with chasing down fans given the advantage of an enormous head start. But transitioning from the eight-lane track — where he’s clocked personal bests of 6.73 seconds in the 60-meter dash (indoors), 10.47 in the 100 and 21.66 in the 200 — to the warning track was no easy task.
For one, the route along the outfield fence at SunTrust Park isn’t the same distance as the events he trains for. And while runners are no strangers to spandex, “The Freeze†costume presented some challenges.
“Mainly with the big ol’ goggles, it was a big adjustment,†Talton said. “I’m used to running in those kind of Boathouse speed suits or little short shorts for track meets.â€
Talton decided to shut down his outdoor season this spring given the demands of working two separate jobs, taking classes while training with the track team at Kennesaw State. He briefly competed with a club team, as well." -
Before freeze there was "Ace" the worlds fastest squirrel. He races weekly at our local minor league affiliate (padres) games. He did get the call up to big squad it too was quite memorable.

Can anyone calculate how far this run was? -
Nice form and nice body on that green guy.

I clocked the Freeze at about 20 seconds, so maybe 170 meters? With blocks, a track, and track spikes he's run 21.66 for 200. That would be about 185 meters. No blocks, dirt, baseball spikes, and the extra gear would slow down the Freeze.

He ran a 21.66 for 200 METERS. Nowhere near Olympic caliber, but faster than I will ever be! His best event is the indoor 60 m.
