Top 5 Gym Rules for Guys
1. Get in, get out. The gym is for working out which means the vast majority of your time should be spent lifting, spinning, swimming, etc. It is not an endless circuit between the hot tub, sauna, steam room, and locker room mirror. If you've been at the gym for longer than 2 hours, you are not working out, you are cruising.
2. When lifting, you get 5 sets or 10 minutes max at each station/ bench. if you superset, you superset with benches in the same area and you GD superset the whole way and then GTFO.
3. Dress like a man. You can wear appropriate compression shorts designed for your activity, i.e. bike shorts for spinning, speedos for swimming, etc. However, full length tights, baggy low cut muscle shirt and neon headband are never appropriate.
4. STFU. No groaning, shouting, obnoxious hyperventilating, etc. Conversation should be limited to, " Can I get a spot? Are you done with this bench?" and maybe an occasional "Nice set" or "How was your swim?" Don't chat up your vegan protein shakes or your DJ gig at the local club.
5. Leave the ladies alone. Just leave them alone. It's not working.
