Look man, I'm no fan of this women. But let's ease up on the "hoe" insults.

Yeah, on the Kenyans part. I think Jager less so. If he and his coaches were smart they would have left for Zurich immediately after the steeple final to rest and get acclimated. But the point is Jager's not a sub-8 (not counting his fall) steeplechaser any more. Not even close.

Sorry for not posting. I've been cussing out the cable company people. My bill is over $200 a month. How much do you all pay?
ANyway, that was a bizarre race. Rudisha bot passed by like 5 people and then tried to rally. His losing wasn't a shock to me considering he lost in 2011 and 2012 at the end of the season but falling back to 5th or 6th mid-race was a weird site.
Spend the $25/month + internet for Sling TV. With Hulu and Amazon prime I am under $100/month including internet.

How did the race play out for the Americans?
Were they all together?
When did they separate?
Thanks!
Wow, Coburn last? She has not had a great race all season. Disappointing.
Asbel MF Kiprop
And Infield is a WC medalist!
Kiprock.
Kiprop is amazing. So fun to watch. I had the feeling he was just tracking kIplagat for the first 1k, making sure he won $40,000. Then he might as well win the race.
Kenya certianly should have run Biwott at worlds and not Cheruiyot.
RObby Andrews picked up a nice scalp in Silas Kiplagat.
Does anybody know what "3000m Americaine Relay" means on the Zurich results? Is that some kind of European distance medley relay?
Wow, Robby didn't go to the back and stay put. He's learning.
As in the Monaco 1500 the two winners went with the faster rabbit. Jenny was definitely running for third place, ran with Teferi much of the race. Even that pace was too hot for Rowbury and she gradually faded. Infeld and Coburn ran about what they are capable of, in fact this might be Emma's 3k personal best (in a very small number of races).
The amazing thing about Coburn is you would never predict her 3000SC time from her 1500(4:05)/3000 times.
Hands down the worst, most disappointing meet of the year. Thought it being close to the worlds meant most would be around peak form? The Weltlasse used to be such a great meet, records galore. Something has to change.
From the stories I heard from my Santa Monica Track Club teammates years ago, after an Olympics or Worlds half of the athletes have probably been drinking and eating for 4 straight days! They are probably hungover and 5lbs heavier!
That 1500 by Kiprop was a thing of beauty.
He is so good right now and knows just how much he has to do to win.

coburn is certainly capable of under 8:50, not 8:59. her steeple is 9:11! she should be running 8:30s

3 runners, you can run any distance you like and hand off as often as you like (it tends to gravitate towards roughly 200m segments)
Coburn's previous personal best from 2011 is 9:17.46. I agree there is a disconnect between her 3000SC and her 1500/3000. I do think this result in Zurich is representative of her performance in flat races.

Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
