no
he got good enough drafting to 1k
i don't quibble with near-enough drafting as that gets crap here
Asbel didn't get too close to drafter & it was a nonsense trying for a 6'3 guy getting much drafting off some runt who looked 5'8 / 5'9
it is all about closeness, duration & surface-area of drafter
the "perfect" template is coe in firenze with the runt at ~ 5'8 drafting limpet-tight behind a 6'3 billy :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OKJ_4RU4jKsso that equals 1.5 * .7 = 1.05 seconds
yes
for coe-firenze
not Asbel-runt
ventolin just give up. You've been proven wrong by him using your own math. Even if Kiprop got 1k of pacing instead of 900m that's still .7*1.25=.875 from lack of drafting which puts his time at 3:25.72.
But you just said .7 is for perfect pacing and then said Kiprop didn't get perfect pacing because the rabbit was a runt. That means .7 is too low for his lack of drafting penalty and should be higher. So that moves his time lower than 3:25.72.
Then you didn't account for the uneven splits. Opening in 53 is obviously not ideal for a 3:26 so lets say that's worth 1-2 seconds. You get 3:23-3:24 using your methodology.
We win. You lose.
