Temps are ideal for distance running 61 degrees. It's a shame there isn't a cracking field in a longer event.
Here is a brief recap of some other events.
Women’s shot put
Germany’s Christina Schwanitz wrapped up the Diamond Race title thanks to a 20.13-meter second throw. Schwanitz, who also claimed wins in Birmingham, Oslo and Paris, has 18 points and cannot be caught with just one Diamond League shot put event remaining.
Women Triple Jump
Colombian world champ Caterine Ibarguen won her fifth Diamond League event of 2015 and with it clinched her third consecutive Diamond Race title. She has won 17 of the 20 Diamond League triple jump events since the start of the 2013 season. She remains undefeated since the 2012 Olympics.
long jump is nearly to 3rd round, rutherford out to 8.34 ahead of marquis dendy 8.09
keep in mind dendy beat him in london DL
alonso edward in 200m in 20.04

25-year old Alsono Edward, who won silver at Worlds in 2009, picked up the win in 20.04 on the tight Stockholm and on a cool evening (61 degree temp when the meet started). At Pan Ams, Edwards got the bronze in 19.90 so it’s clear he’s getting back into his old form.
Katie MF Mackey FTW!!!
Katie Mackey became just the fourth American to win a Diamond League 3,000/5,000, joining Lauren Fleshman (2011 London 5,000), Shannon Rowbury (2013 London 3,000) and Ben True (2015 New York 5,000), kicking away from three other women over the final 100 meters to win in 8:52.99, a seven-second PB.
Men's discus is in the books.
Piotr Małachowski of Poland got the win in the last round with a seasonal best throw of 65.95. It was the second DL win for Malachowski, a three time silver medallist outdoors (once Olympics, twice Worlds) on the year as he also was the winner in Paris. Belgium’s Philip Milanov responded with his best throw of the night (64.97m) after Malachowski took the lead but it wasn’t enough.
good PV comp going on as well
murur over 4.71 2nd attempt, others (silva/greek girl) passed after clearing 4.66 first time

Correcting my own staff. Malachowski has won 4 DL discus throws this year.
He also was the winner in Shanghai, Eugene and Paris.
13% of people are gonna be right about Bayer. He is winning the steeple today.
does anyone here know what an "r" means in LJ results? several competitors have rounds labeled "r". "x" means over the line obviously, but does r mean pass?
Disappointing women's 800 for the US women as none of them broke 2:00.
The race was won by France's Renelle Lamote, who only has a 1:59.39 pb, in 1:59.91
Results here:

it really was a race of who was slowing down the least as the splits were: 56.99, then 31.30, then 31.65.
why does jager race so infrequently? He would probably win this race. Winning a diamond league race is a big deal.
I suppose flying out from the US upsets training scheds, but still.
Gotta find time to 'replenish' away from the limelight.

If I'm not mistaken, Stockholm incorporates style points in the long jump competition. "r" means "rad", indicating that they did something really cool, like a double pump or clapped their hands behind their back before they landed. It's pretty subjective, though, to be honest. I'll have to see if they are using the same type of scoring in the pole vault and high jump.
I don't watch a ton of high jump, but is Duffield's approach common?
Running parallel to the standard, passing it, and then pulling a 180 before clearing?
the r means retire, i found out.
jager wouldnt really benefit from a win here against this field. he needs to focus on WC Gold
8:19 for Bayer BTW for 4th
2 moroccans ran 8:16 to go 1 2 ahead of Yego
kebenei 8:25 (PR 8:23 i think) and Leslie 8:30
the rabbit haron lagat finished the race for some reason in 8:33

Why'd you take the lead with two laps to go, homey?
Bayer looks consistent though.

probably because he knew he was close to PRing and also knew he'd be out-kicked
seemed like a good decision to me
