Could this guy's ups and downs be any more SUSPICIOUS?
This was a good race for him to perform in, the ONLY kind of race he actually can place in, a slow one. (3:33 winner.) Where was he? Fanboys, what is the excuse this time?
Nice season's best for Robby Andrews and a Czech national record for Jakub Holusa in second place with a 3:34.2.
Matt CENTROWITZ in Stockholm DL: 3:39.29 to place ELEVENTH out of TWELVE

thanks for the results in the title - that is really helpful for those of us who don't want to have to click twice.

okay..win in fast time - suspicious. win in a slow time - suspicious. great logic. maybe he should just run slow all the time like most Americans. nothing suspicious about that.

Since when is 11th place winning? -
he went out in 54 what the f do you want from the guy. can't be on every week.
I actually think it's funny I'm defending the guy because I really don't like him. I just dislike the op's opinion even more -

I'm not suspicious of roid chacne centro; I KNOW he's a doper. And that's correct, every race, every type of race that roid chacne centro does, you can be certain that he is doped. I don't want him to run slow, I want him to go to prison and not run at all. -
Great race for Robby: 3:35 in 5th place in a season best.

Going out in 54 is probably what killed him. Should have stuck in the back with Andrews. -

In a "seasonal" best. Season is NOT an adjective. -

When does HS start again? Not soon enough. -
I find it funny that someone says it was a good race for Andrews. 2 seconds back in a slow race is not good. He does not run to try to win. Just sits and relaxes.
Centro had a bad race. Obviously his fitness is not bad with the races he has had lately. Maybe tired? Maybe that he went for it in the first lap up front.
Centro ran poorly for sure but I also expected more out of Andrews. I don't think it is concerning for either with still 4 weeks until Worlds. -

1. He didn't "win" in a slow time. He bombed and was basically DFL (except for the local Swedish club entry six seconds back in 3:45, who was closing on him).
2. If ANY OTHER ATHLETE was this erratic, every NOP fanboy's "doper!" alarm would be going off. Imagine if Mahkloufi ran 3:30 one week and 3:39 the next. You'd be calling for his suspension, no A-sample required.
3. The usual excuse for Centro is jetlag when he's just traveled. Are you now going to argue that after a month in Europe he is not jetlagged enough? Can he only race well exactly two weeks after a first-class flight?

Just the way everyone is convinced the erratic Leo Manzano is doping? I am seriously curious, what drugs do you think he is on that would result in an 11th place finish five days after a 2nd place finish. -
What is everyone here talking about? Why do people here act like professional runners are robots and should be able to churn out the exact same times week in and week out? People make assumptions about runners based on very very few data points. No one ever has the full picture. You have no clue how his training has been the past week/month/etc. Same thing applies to any sort of cold he might have picked up with all the travel. Or who knows, maybe he just had an off day. IT HAPPENS.

Oh, I don't know, ever heard of LEO MANZANO??? Far more erratic and close to 0% chance of being a doper. I don't think I've even ever seen any accusations towards him on the LRC boards. -

allclear must be a millennial. Everyone is a winner. -
Erratic or not, Centro is a doper. That is a fact.

Judging by all the crazy sprint performances, there's a new stimulant in town.
