Shannon hasn't beat Jenny in years, but when she does, she get the American record! Jenny must be crushed, Win when it counts I guess. NOP say a big FU to the haters.

She should buy Jenny S dinner for sure. Watch the video on front page, Rowbury just tucked in behind JBS until the final turn.

Good tactics them are.

She drafted off of Jenny for 1400 meters and won by a second.
But, due to allegations, Salazars athletes will always come under scrutiny, was Rowbury clean?

In your fantasy brain. Not mine!

I couldn't agree more. Can't trust the times or accomplishments of any of Salazar's athletes.
Jenny did not look happy at the end of that race. The AR is going to be low 3:55 before the end of the season.
Salazar had a great day over 1500m -
Farah, 3:28
Centrowitz, 3:30 PB
Rowbury, 3:56 AR
Moser, 4:04
Where is Schumacher's group? Running "B" heats?

Yea, but, is she ( as LRC loves to accuse and say) a drug cheat?

Bowerman clan logging a bunch of useless mileage and hiding from drug testers only to have just one real top 6 threat with all that talent (Jager).
How is staying in park city "hiding from drug testers"? Bowerman has 5 world champ qualifiers at 3k steeple and above. What more do you want? Are you 12 years old?

I've never liked Rowbury since she tried to cut off Simpson at the American Championships last year, I believe it was, but who cares? She got the AR. That's smart on her part if she used to best strategy to get it.
And this is coming from a die-hard Simpson fan. Sad she didn't get the AR, but Shannon deserved it.
It goes without saying, but I've never seen a runner dominate a race like Dibaba did this one. El Guerrouj never did that.
Best Coach in the world? That seems like a stretch. There are a lot of excellent coaches who never coach anyone as talented as ANY NOP athlete. Salazar is doing some things right, but Rowbury still was a distant 3rd in that race, so maybe I'll give you "one of the better coaches in the world, 3rd best in that race, 4th in the men's race."
Unfortunately, I am wondering how much good the asthma and thyroid medications did her. And wondering how doped Dibaba was during the off season in rural Africa where no one could test her. I hope I'm wrong..
Umm, actually, I was reminded of the men's world record when El G and Ngeny went out hard like Dibaba and Price today. Ngeny finished of course, but I always loved how hard they went as two explorers into new territory. Dibaba/Price had that sort of commitment in their running today.

Why do you assume Jenny has no TUE's? Why don't you have Flotrack or letsrun.com ask her about that.
