Hey in 4 weeks (3 weeks of training) I will be racing a marathon. I have been doing extremely limited mileage, high speed for a month. Any suggestions how to go about this?

One long run per week. Day off afterwards. Typical training in-between (really does not matter as long as you run at least 4-5 miles each day.
W1: 16mi
W2: 18mi
W3: 18mi
I'd rather you have four weeks and go 16-18-20-12 but three is really pushing it. Those last few miles will not be fun but you'll get through it fine.
So no workouts? I really want to go 2:55.
That's laughable. You will run 3:50+ guaranteed.
Ya? Base training for track I averaged over 70 miles a week for 8 weeks. As a workout I've run 13 miles at 6 minute pace. 3:50's you say?
Doubles or even triples. Run as many miles as possible without breaking down.
You will definitely run 2:55. You will see 2:55 on the clock at mile 23!
Ok I will post an update the day of the race saying how I did. Plan B is a BQ time of 3:05, thanks for supporting my dreams!
What was your longest run in the last month?
He'll definitely do it cos' he thinks outside of the "box"... no such thing as perfect training... only what works for you but only if you wanna race.. some just like to be experimental...
Longest run was 8.5 miles
Were never hearing from this guy again after the race, and if we do it wont include verifiable proof of the result
Update: Today I did 10 miles at 6:12 pace as a long steady run. Not too shabby but still a long ways off from 26.2
I would shoot for 7 minute pace...but expect the last 4-5 miles to be gruesome

I'll give you a hope of 3:15-20. I promise you that if your account of your training is accurate, you will not break 3 hours in the marathon. This distance is a great humbler, particularly of people in your situation treating it lightly.
That said, good luck anway!
