I know Bob has gained weight and doing it for his mental wellbeing, just getting out there and enjoying it, but you would think he would be able to run at least under 3 hours maybe even 2.50-2.40 considering he has the genetics to run at least 2.13 or under. I find this interesting and I think it then shows he must be more fast twitch than I realised than a slow twitcher and so training is much more important and the distance is harder, or basically that there is lot more to build back up to get in shape, the peak is higher but takes a lot longer to get to. Steve Way did like 2.55 marathon off a couple of weeks training at over 16stone and looked much fatter than Bob, but he is a stereotypical slow twitcher as he professed he could run a 1.40 half marathon basically on no training like literally never run before and gets out the door and does a 1.40. However his lack of fast twitch hinders him at the highest levels and shorter events. With a couple months and weight loss to look like a proper runner, goes and runs a 2.35 or so I think.
