Get real. Busted face and shitty titty. Eww.
And I agree, though perhaps less vehemently, with the folks who simply observed that she was not (primarily) a rock 'n' roll artist. Yes, that Hall has had other inductees of whom that was true, but I see that as more of an argument to have kept them out, not put her in.
What the heck, if we're putting cover artists in, what about Pat Boone?
Pat Boone was pre- Rock and Roll.

The ommission is being corrected this year. I trust it is because of her ealy work and not because of her illness.
Pretty good list this year.

How in the world is Linda Ronstadt not in the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame?
Probably because of this (great) song...

Doobie Bros can go blow, but Chicago definitely deserves to be in. Amazing they are not already in.

And THAT right there is why she isnt in the Hall of Fame. She is a glorified cover artist.
True, but her versions are often better than the original.
and she is was super hot in the 70s.

Is it possible to take Jackson Browne out of the Hall of Fame and put Warren Zevon in instead?
I know it's a reach...
Is it possible for Linda to be the first female in both Rock HoF and Country HoF?
Early stuff was called 'country' by some and then there was the Trio project. Don't think she really ever got country radio airplay.

I think Dolly Parton belongs both in Country Hall of Fame and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame before Linda Rondstadt. Dolly was the best.
Yes, she was better than and more influential than Hall and Oates, Kiss..oh wait, she's in, she's in in April.
She recently did an interview on NPR --maybe Fresh Air or Bob Edwards-- anyway it was a good interview. Currently dealing w/ Parkinsons disease (made her quit music) which also took the life of a relative (grandmother?) came from an interesting family. Worht a listen if you can find it. Never really thought much of her until hearing the interview.
Does Ray Price belong in Rock and Roll Hall of Fame?
