Ameer Webb was a Junior College transfer from SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA. He ran for Cerritos College and was JC state champion in 100 and 200.

That is not an example of a typo. That is an example of you not understanding the difference between two words (dominant and dominate), or perhaps never having even known that they were two different words.

That is a serious failing on the part of whoever was responsible for educating you.

Virginia Tech and Missouri don't really count as the south. They're more in the middle.

It's been this way for at least a decade. It may be more severe right now, but think about where sprinters come from...The southeast, Texas, and southern California.

Then there's a whole lot of other states that qualify for the South. New York in 1776, 1783, or 1787 was technically still a slave state and didn't officially abolish it till 1827. We have a few guys up here who can sprint fast, but nothing like those warm sunny southern winter days to get the feet moving for indoors.
