Thats understandable. Tim Hortons donuts are much better.
Given that he didn't actually succeed in killing anyone, it makes for a reasonable argument for gun control. Axes are deadly, but not as deadly as guns.
I'm a gun owner by the way.
This article makes a great argument for gun control.
1. If this guy came back with a AR-15, he would have probably been able to kill a half dozen people within a minute or two of entering the store.
2. If this guy had an AR-15, he would have also been able to have a shoot out with police and possibly have a hostage stand off.
3. The police did not have to shoot the guy. He was subdued with a taser. If this guy was mentally ill and was on a rampage due to receiving the wrong meds or some other circumstance beyond his control, he would be killed by police if he had a gun.
Killing spree?
Keep up the good work exhibiting the intelligence of gun nuts.
I agree with Justin.
And Tim Horton's has horrible donuts. Dunkin are better, but Krispy Kreme is the king of donuts.
I opened up the article thinking "Well, it happened at a Dunkin Donuts. So... there's a 30% chance this is in CT, 40% chance it's in MA, 20% chance it's in RI, and 10% chance it's somewhere else." I started reading it and immediatly found out that it happened in my town. Glad it wasn't the DD near me though.

I do not agree with Bullet the Blue Sky. The correct rankings are:
1. Krispy Kreme (particularly the glazed donuts)
2. Tim Hortons (particularly the sugar donuts)
3. Dunkin Donuts

Dunkin used to have quite the respectable donut, then they stopped making them at the stores. They are now made (I believe in regional centers) and then shipped to the stores. That in itself is reason to take an ax to the place.

Which is a great reason why citizens should retain the ability to bear arms. Self-defense of liberty would be much less effective with axes instead of guns.

And, after reading the article, there is no mention of the guy attempting to harm any employees.
It mentions raising the ax at the first officer who drew his weapon, but he obviously didn't pose much threat because the weapon was not used on the guy... a stun gun was. No attempted murder charge in that laundry list.

Sure sounds like the axe wielding gentleman had to be white. The cops didn't shoot him.
I have not looked into this. Am I right?
