For 10 years Adidas has been my preferred shoe brand. I have a narrow foot, a high arch, a neutral midfoot strike and they always seemed to fit me best, both trainers and racing comps.
The exceptions have been the Nike Free and the New Balance 1001 (because I was in a NB-sponsored club for a few seasons, got free shoes and was required to race in NB.)
But I've had to bounce around like crazy among Adidas models because they keep changing them. So I got into the habit of stocking up 3 or 4 pairs when there was one I liked. Did it with AdiZero CS and after that was gone I did the same with the Ace - different than the CS but after some adjustment I actually liked it better. Well, now I'm on my last pair of the Ace, got maybe 100 miles left on them so I've been frantically shopping around for a shoe that is similar enough to the Ace but without luck. And I've decided I've fu\cking had it with these guys. So I've bought some LunaRacers which actually seem really good after a few runs.
So of course my question is, to those who have been Nike runners for years, have you had similar experiences with the lack of continuity?
