We did a team challenge the other day in practice and it went great!! However, coaching HS girls - they want more bonding exercises to break the grind of practice and make it fun. Any ideas?? Any team bonding exercises you did in HS or college that help build team unity and send a message that this is a track/XC TEAM? Yes, I know it can't be all fun and games - but these exercises/challenges really help with motivation and team chemistry = more coachable athletes. I need more ideas!!
FYI - the challenge we did was break my team in into 2 teams of 15 and have the girls squeeze all their team members on a small plyo box for :30 - it was tough, painful, and FUN!
Then they had to flip a large tarp over with everyone still on the tarp and no-one allowed to touch outside the tarp.
