It was on NFL HD
ALL NFL games are televised.
No network or even ESPN
It was on regular tv in the home markets of the Packers and the Cowboys. The NFL Network had the game, so unless your cable had the NFL Network you were out of luck.

It was on the NFL network..
Some cable company's do not carry it...
It was broadcast on a Green Bay station, which is how I watched it. But I live an hour from GB. I don't get that channel in HD from Charter, but at least I could watch the game.
Sorry, man.
It was on nfl.com for free.
Money.
The NFL wants cable companies to carry their channel on the extended cable package (what most people buy, includes ESPN, etc.) and will charge the cable companies $1 a month per subscriber (whether you ever watch this channel or not). This would be for a total of 8 regular season games per year, plus filler content the rest of the time. The cable companies think this is too much money. Eventually they'll reach a deal, but expect it to be for much less than what the NFL is asking for.
My uncle in NJ actually is able to just get the NFL Channel. he pays about $1.90/month just for that one additional channel..
The NFL is lanced, a fake sport, don't watch any of it.
yeah in VA it's 1.99 a month to get just one additional channel on comcast.
Unless it's the Super Bowl, people really won't get that worked up ovr missing a football game.
They'll get up the next morning, see the highlights on ESPN, and realize that life goes on. The NFL may think that they have a great marketing scheme, but people don't care that much.
It's like the blackout policy printed on Directv's website: "The NFL wants a stadium full of enthusiastic fans at every NFL home game." Really, then give us a team that we can be enthusiastic about. I really want to go shell out about $400 (tickets, food, parking) to watch the Dolphins play the 49ers. They can black out the game as far as I'm concerned; I'll just go for a run or read a book.
If fans care that much, they can go to Yahoo and use the game tracker.
Since they moved MNF to ESPN, I rarely watch it anymore although I have that channel. I'm more likely to be watching college hoops or CSI: Miami.
