Kenya is very beautiful, but you wouldn't know it from looking at your insipid photographs.
Very wealthy, but not as wealthy as Martin.
So why are there very nice African cities but then the surrounding countryside is either slums or huts? Granted every nation has its poor, just look at the US, but our poor at least have mobile homes, section 8, and whatnot. So what system do we have here that is lacking over there? Could it just be the developmental stage that country is in? For generations this country had well developed cities yet the poor living in slums, shanties, and whatnot. In 50 years or 75 years or 100 years will African countries be like we are today simply due to the natural development of a country and its government?

We didn't have AIDS, though. A lot of Africa's future is going to depend on that.
I am just impressed abt the Nairobi city! western world will never show these. People ask are there cars!, are there cellphones, airports? wow! this is amazing...I am planning to visit the place soon perfect weather too!
Very impressive indeed...speechless
Nairobi is very beautiful, especially west Nairobi and the financial district, but train your camera to the Dandora and Mathere slums next time. Dandora is the 2nd largest slum in Africa and it is within Nairobi's city limits. We should encourage people to visit Kenya, but don't lead them there under the false pretenses that Nairobi is not at all dangerous.
no where in the world is safe! terrorists are everywhere! but not heard much abt it in Nairobi since I was there. it is very beautiful and I plan to visit it again!
yeah, those pictures are beautiful. Kenya has some really beautiful places.
Even for a gullable, naive traveler like myself, Nai-robbery is scary. Interesting, beautiful, but still scary.
The places are beautiful, too bad that the AIDS rate is skyrocketing.
Thank you, Iten.
I love these pictures! the place is awesome..

The AIDS rate in Kenya is currently 5.9% and falling due to behavioural change.

"Thanks to pragmatic government policies and an emphasis on tourism, Kenya is one of Africa ’s fastest growing economies-despite having no commodities. Between 1995 and 2005, African stocks showed compound annual growth of 22%. Last year, the stock market in Kenya rallied 46%, and the local index is up 9x in dollar terms over the past ten years." - Seeking Alpha
