Just a quick PSA...
I took my son to a park in Virginia the other day. The park is about a half-acre of various slides, climbing structures, swings, monkey-bars, etc.
The entire area is made of Mondo, so that if kids fall, they don't skin their knees, etc. I believe it is also for handicap children, so they can use wheelchairs, etc.
Regardless, some guy was running around the park on the mondo, in between the swings and children. He, of course, was wearing really short running shorts, and making strange noises. Normal for a runner, but very foreign to parents who are very protective of their kids.
All of the parents were getting worked up and one wanted to call the cops. I, being a runner, tried to calm everyone down and just said that the short shorts are normal, and the guy just wanted somewhere soft to run. I also thought he looked weird, but figured it was probably a guy trying to get a few miles in on a soft surface.
Was it one of you guys?
If so, you might want to reconsider where you run. There are a few tracks in the area, so look up one of those, as you are likely going to be confronted by someone if you return.
