2023: ran 3:34.99 (then pr) in Feb; ran 7:25.47 AR in Sept following injury
2024: ran 7:30.88 (indoor pr en route to 8:03.62 2 mile) in Feb; ran 3:34.90 (then pr) in June
2025: ran 3:33.99 (pr) today; ran _______ (AR? WR?) a week later.
Grant is now a second faster in the 1500 than he was two years ago when he ran his 7:25/3000 AR. So, makes sense he is now two seconds faster in the 3000; i.e., 7:23-something.
WR indoors is 7:23.81 by Lemecha Girma from Feb. 2023.
More than just times is the eye test. Grant execution today was near perfect while, per his words, his confidence is at a peak. Finishing kick today at least as good as his Paris closes.
Case made.
