its an aggressive MD spike made for mostly 800, that's why most 1500 runners use dragonflys instead (this year has seen way more vics though). nike needs something in-between. a dragonfly with a cf instead of pebax plate to make it stiffer/more agresive.

While it wasn't the Olympic technology track, the super-track helped a bit too
(WR-level pacing and slight draft for almost 12 laps didn't hurt either)
