Very true. And she’s good at hills/heat. Just seems a little early and a conservative enough pace that she should still be with them. But agreed she is a smart racer so I’m hoping she’s just not having a bad day and is racing smart
Just pulled by Bates's splits, and she's been dead on 2:25/2:26 pace for quite a while. Last split (to 15.5 in 1:26:36) was mildly slower, but I'm not smart enough to know the course profile.

Good morning everyone.***Deleted as weldon doens't wnat me talking about the biological differences between mothers and those not capable of being mothers....THe other thing that stuck me was they were talking about how they liked Des's lead as compared to the Brazlians. I disagree. I thought, "The Brazilian might win the race. Des will not."

Do Nascimento's lead is still growing. He led by 2:06 at 20k and 2:13 at halfway. The big test will be what happens to him when he goes up hill at Queensboro bridge which he is starting up now.
