Almost everything you need to know about Chris Chavez as a reporter is contained in this image. Whoever corrected the headline didn't make a note of it or remark on any of the public hectoring it took to compel the correction.

Chris Chavez writes and says stupid things almost continuously, many of them about himself. He's enthusiastic about what he does, but that has its limits, and his main aim is to promote himself and his various Citius enterprises. That would be great if he were better at it and he had decent help.
With few exceptions, the only Web sources offering consistently intelligent interviews, meaningful forecasts, or knowledgeable recaps are this site and The Morning Shakeout. For technical stuff, Alex Hutchinson. The rest of the regulars -- the swath of podcasters who jabber mainly about themselves and each other along with the Woke whiners and halfwits at the legacy pubs -- are in a clumsy race to outdo each other with their various forms of preening and ass-kissing disguised as media coverage. Either this comes at the cost of significant accuracy, or none of these actors would be competent even if they took their sweet time.
