I don't really know how Burrito Track Club works, but the announcer Gonchar said they all live together and train together.
It would certainly be hard to dope without anyone knowing, but you can hide anything from those you live with I suppose.

I don’t think anyone is claiming that they aren’t good at running. Your post is completely redundant.
they ran rather slow though........for them.could it be that theyve cycled off?

Ridiculo. What a stupid, disgusting statement, for everyone to see.

It was 94 freaking degrees
Sure, one member of a close knit team juices and the others know nothing. Neither team mates nor coaches. Just like the E Germans and Ma's Army (read BTC).
With the money spent on BTC & NOP ..with the talent they have … they should sweep every distance event 800 - marathon. Their roi is imho not great

But while you're "hiding it from everyone else", who's giving you advice about doping, who's supplying it to you, how are you taking it without anyone noticing anything, who is giving you the moral support to dope - and, more particularly - how can you cheat on your team mates if you know they aren't doping? And then your team mates speak up in support of you after your conviction. Yep - Shelby takes one for the team, that much is clear.
Will Cranny move to the marathon at some point? Something about her size and running style makes me think she'd be great in the longer stuff.

Seeing Cranny give love to Shelby in her post-race interview makes it pretty clear where Jerry's group is at. Very reminiscent of Alberto's athlete's reaction as he was under investigation. I am now firmly of the opinion that the entire group is doping. Doping is such a big part of these athlete's lifestyles that they don't even have the sense to pretend to be outraged at Shelby getting busted. They just assume since they are so comfortable with the idea of doping everyone else is too.
Stupid assumption...Let me pose this question you really think Fisher would dope? The talent and intelligence that young man has...your comments are idiotic
People with "talent and intelligence" don't dope? Even though they know that they will stand to lose to those with less talent and intelligence who do dope?
Everyone thought Tiger Woods was a great husband.
Everyone thought Lance Armstrong was an American hero.
Everyone thought Shelby Houlihan was a hard working runner.
Truth is all these athletes have an extremely specific crafted public branded image for the sole purpose of making a living and living up to the sponsor expectations.
Really only Shelby knows what Shelby did. Others might not.
Remember Kellie White?
For the good of the sport and her own soul Shelby should come clean.
I’m sure even though she’s a doper Shelby is still a very hard worker. Doping allows you to work harder because you can recover better. So, if anything Shelby is still a really hard worker.

Why does this shut up the haters? This proves the haters right - that Bowerman is doping.

I agree. That was disgusting. She might have those feelings for Shelbo, but she should have kept it to her herself.
What? I am confused. If your best friend started doing drugs, wouldn't you try to help her and support her? If haters told you to kick her aside, the right thing would be for you to support her publicly and privately.

Nah, they learned their lesson from Shelburrito. They ain't gonna be glowing during competition. Jerry will make sure none of his athlete's make that dumb mistake again.
Ya they were going off last summer, on a different level. A couple American records, re-writing the top 10 lists for everyone else. The past few months they have not been nearly as dominant as they looked last summer in all of their team time trials. Even winning these titles, they didn't do it in nearly as dominant of fashion as you'd expect. Karissa has run 14:20's, 69 seconds per lap, and was struggling to close in a 64 second lap after jogging 75's most of the race. The Bowerman crew has been beaten by quite a few Americans this spring.
They have probably learned their lesson though with Shelby and cut back on supplements. Maybe the athletes didn't know they were flirting with the line of doping and not doping, but they were. That's probably why Shelby is acting so shocked. She didn't think she would get busted from just taking a bit of questionable supplements here or there.
1-2 in 10k and 1-2 in 5k so far. They were never more dominant than this.
It actually proved that they're shady AF.

I genuinely felt a twinge of sadness watching this race, as well as the men's 5k. In my eyes, this doping scandal has cast doubt on their entire training group.
Whether the accusations are true or not has been litigated enough in the other threads. Either way, I just feel skeptical of all of them now.
I think this kind of reaction is what USATF and Nike should have been trying to avoid, but instead they (Nike/BTC at least) went all in on trying to vindicate her.
Again, it was 94 degrees. Were you expecting a faster time?
