Fake news NYT defines the generation as 1946-65. Born in late 50s and have always known I'm a boomer. My wife, whom I have known for 35 years is born in 1961 and has considered herself a boomer as long as I have known here. Never heard of GenX going back to 1960 or 1961. Last year the aforementioned NYT had an article about a sub-generational split in boomers, those born in 1946-55 or so were socially and politically different from the later boomers.

LOL, you're the one who seems up in arms. Whatever the NYT says, what most of us are saying is that when we were growing up we were NOT considered Boomers.
