Probably could have decent crowds if it was purely a domestic crowd. If they let in the unwashed masses from COVID countries like USA and Brazil it would be bad news for Japan.

has everyone already forgotten about how he'd try to pay other college runner girls for sex? I remember the oatsandhoes instagram posted screenshots of it. WHILE he had a girlfriend.
The King can run 21.x 200s, 3:49 mile, and 13:04 5ks plus xc 8k and 10k dominance. He's won a million races and was known for doubling and tripling at Nationals.
.....I'd say "doubling" and "tripling" in his sexual forays just further demonstrates his range.
So ... he was a typical guy?

this made me chuckle alot...
FYI -- I reached out to Cheserek's agent/coach Stephen Haas, who said, "Nothing has changed with his citizenship status or situation. He will be running the trials to pursue the Olympics. Whether it be the US or Kenyan trials, we don't know that yet."

At 25% capacity max. And we'll see how it goes... It's a lot different revenue picture if you're not selling 75% of the stadium. Hopefully, a vaccine and other developments have shifted the landscape by then because it couldn't happen if we're in the same place now next summer.

not at all. man is THIRSTY
Once he has US resident alien status, he needs to maintain that status for five years before applying for US citizenship. Then, it takes up to a year to process, waiting for the interview appointment, waiting for ceremony appointment, and waiting for the naturalized US citizen certificate to be processed and arrive in the mail.
If he runs for Kenya during that time, It will be difficult for him to switch to the US team. World Athletics is making switching countries difficult, if not impossible.
Lying to race directors about his citizenship status and the country he aims to represent is not going to endear him to race directors, sponsors, and immigration officials.
Think about it. If he had a chance of running for the US, he would be running Nike, not Sketchers.
Or he has a really bad agent and an even worse immigration attorney.

When?
Skinny whir Brit made him sweat last week for a 13:25
World Athletics have him registered as a Kenyan. He won’t easily change that even if he gets US citizenship once he has completed his resident alien requirement of five years plus 1 year processing.
The international association, World Athletes, determines his status. Ches can say whatever he likes to race directors, essentially lying, but he is a Kenyan athlete as far as international athletes is concerned.

Not going to matter. I've heard from a mega agent that Tokyo in 2021 is more than likely to be cancelled as they cannot guarantee spectators in the stands and rely on that revenue stream.
They've built the arenas.
So the question is if they can't have Olympics with fans do they hold them at all? I'd hope they'd try and hold them and there would be financial incentive to do so (all the TV money).
The US is going to have fans in sports this fall. Will others follow suit? The big question is what does a country like Japan which has had very few Corona cases do?
Ban spectators from Hot-spit countries, that's the US and UK support gone. The only way athletes will be able to go is I would imagine they will need to be in Tokyo weeks in advance of the games, be in quarantine and regular testing. Similar to the NBA bubble, if this is feasible.

He's (purposely) never represented Kenya in an international competition, therefore if he gets US citizenship he can compete for the US immediately. A flag next to his name on the WA website doesn't necessarily mean he has declared allegiance.
Even if he gets US citizenship, he will have to wait a further three years because of World Athletics new Change of Allegiance rules
So he has five years of resident alien status to complete, a year for processing, then a three year wait for World Athletics transfer of allegiance rules.
You will never see Ches in a US uniform.
Once again, he does not need to "change" allegiance because he does not have allegiance to begin with.
World Athletics have him registered as Kenyan.

Says it in plain English
“COUNTRY: Kenya”
The three year change of allegiance rule was put in place to prevent the very thing he is trying to do. The rules are very difficult from when Lagat made his switch.
Che seres has competed in World Athletics sanctioned events as a Kenyan. He is a Kenyan. If he wants to change his allegiance, once becoming a US citizen, he has to wait three years.
Those are the change of allegiance rules of World Athletics.
