Good sign for Caleb Ndiku. Takes the men's 3,000 comfortably in a world-leading 7:35.13.
7:35 in very hot conditions, not to shabby.
Ndiku 1st, Alamirew 2nd
Soo the rest of the field is not gracious, hard-working, and clean? Or do you just not like African Americans?

I just can't get excited at all about a 7:35 with a 55 close at all. Especially after watching a 3:26. Hopefully the women's 1500 lives up to the hype
Also nice PBs for Garrett Heath (7:37.97) and Ben Blankenship (7:38.08). Heath has actually run faster indoors (7:37.40) but his outdoor PB was just 7:44.
Blessing Okagbare cut into her lane and was finishing in it, not sure what you do when that happens.
WHy didn't Jenkins run this 3000? It would have been perfect for him.
Depsite what they said, it wasn't a PB for Heath. He ran 737.97 tonight. Last year, he ran 7:37.40 indoors. So it was an outdoor PB for heath.
Blankenship ran 738.08. That was a pb as his pb was 7:45.44.

Tha'ts basically the sentiment I had.
The state of our sport is when you come from nowhere to 1:42.51, the drug testers need to be ready. I was pumped to see that but my god was that unreal. Wow.
Great race.
Berian PBS!!!
Berian has improved even more than Tuka this year
Schippers and Prandini are gonna tear it up at Worlds. Holy crap. Both are excellent rounds runners. Would love to see them go gold/silver in the 200.
Men's 3000 was dull. Can't even tell the runners apart with these uniforms. Would have loved to see some Americans like Jager or Webb in the race.
Letsrun.com should go to Bosnia and talk to Tuka about his training that made him such an outsanding performace. I think letsrun users could pay for that. Thats insane 1:46 drop to 1:42:51 in one year. Everybody needs to know what he was doing. If he ofc is clean.

Yes, Webb in that race would have been interesting.

To me it looked like she finished the race in lane 6 after starting in 7. Did anyone see the same?

Kiprop and Dibaba are African Americans now? Might want to let them know when you get a chance.

Another 800 runner who has improved more is Fiona Benson who went from 2:08ish to sub 2 this season.

Or go to Botswana and ask how Amos dropped to a 1:41 in one year??

Centro was 10th in 3:30.34. ... possibly the fastest 10th place finish ever? Need to look up those stats.
Possibly????
I'd rather ask Amos how his age jumped from 24 to 18!
Time for hurdlez.
3:52.8 to come from Genzebe Dibaba.
