You’re lying to yourself if you don’t think Hocker makes track and field exciting. I loved that he made the move early and went for it instead of just sit and kick. He wants to be the best in the world and even though he lost, this is a huge confidence booster for him. Testing the limits. Very Prefontaine like.
Cole Hocker 7:23 is BAD NEWS FOR JAKOB INGEBRIGTSEN
Is it really? Jakob hasn’t really had a healthy buildup for a while. Let’s see what new level he has found. Let’s not forget that Indoor tracks are as good or even better than outdoor tracks as well now.

Still ran 7:30, as did Gressier, Jacobs, and Teare. Pretty fantastic.
oh my goodness I didn't even notice them, huge PBs for all of them. Hoare back in 7:45 (pb though), but a great day for the new OAC guys. 7:30 isn't as good as Teare's 12:52 or whatever he's run, but without a doubt he's in great shape. A nice 27.66 close for him (which is still slower than Grant MF Fisher with a 27.50 last 200)
