If he was capable of low 3:27, he would have been able to go with Kiprop, and he wouldn't have needed a second pacer. 3:28 flat at best for Mo, still a great run.

Each fast 1500m has this pattern: (Fast first lap, about 2/3 seconds slowdown in second one, forcing to 'increase' the pace (which actually means they maintain despite feeling a speed up in pace) and then trying to 'kick the last 300m' which normally just means a second faster or equal pace.
Calling Kiprop 54 flat suicidal is just plain ridiculous, it was perfect for the opener lap.
Also if you are saying that Farah did 55 mid based on the video comentator i sugest you to time it yourself (spoiler alert!: he was actually 1 full second behind the first pacer which means 54 high, therefore not so even pace as you are trying to make it seem).
Also the rabbits were there, let's not pretend that Farah is important enough for a squad of rabbits just for him. He got schooled by Kiprop that's all. He just doesn't give a flying f**k about Farah's slowing down, kick at the end b**ch tactics, he goes for the time and isn't affraid of blowing up.
There is nothing wrong with running a great 3:28 race just like there is nothing wrong with admiting for once that you are not correct.

There was a perfect rabbit for him. Kiprop.
54.93 seconds is 3:26.00 pace. 54.0 is not a suicidal opener. However, I would think that it would be ideal to go 55s for the first three laps (1:50/2:45), and then have to break 41 to break the record. El G ran 39.7 his last 300m in his record. Kiprop about a second slower in a 3:26.69.

Earlier you vehemently asserted that Running a HM had cost Mo his speed. You suggest here he's in 3:27.xx shape. You think he'd have broken the WR if he'd not run that HM this spring,
