Medals and records would be nice. Outside of Jager they're lacking in this area. Qualifying for the championships shouldn't be celebrated, it's what they do when they get there that matters.

In reality maybe Shannon's agent should get the credit for getting her into the best 1500 for Women ever. Then, give the Ethiopian lady credit for giving both Jenny and Shannon someone to chase.

Dibaba destroyed Rowbury by six seconds. Six seconds. She was eating dinner at home by the time Rowbury came across the line. Rowbury outran Simpson by a mere second. That is not destroying anyone in a race that last almost 4 minutes. Put it in perspective. Also if Rowbury's race makes Salazar is the best coach world then Dibaba's coach must be the best coach in the entire Universe! Remember slapdick, Dibaba was at home eating dinner by the time Rowbury crossed the line.

Not quite so. Rowbury led Simpson for three hundred meters before Simpson cut in behind the second pacer. It is not as though the pace went out slow waiting for someone to take the lead. Simpson made the conscious choice to go with the second pacer.

Salazar's athletes are always going to be known for the asterisk next to their names and numbers.

They will be remembered by history as the Bonds/McGuire/Sosa equivalents of running during the peak of its doping era.

Please indicate the sanctions against NOP Athletes since Rowbury joined the group.

Before any of these NOP allegations were revealed there was quite a bit of negative fibes against Salazar. Perhaps a large part of that is the perceived or realized arrogance of Salazar's personality. His penchant for the extreme and bizarre adds to weird factor. There certainly appears to be a cold or hot opinion and little luke warm. If you push the allegations aside, which one should until proven otherwise, his results as an American middle/long distance coach exceeds anyone coaching today.

Right because it's always credible to declare guilt by association especially when no charges have been filed, no doping has been shown and no evidence has been unassailable. Speculation is always the strongest argument for doubt and asterisks on records and fast times. TOOL!!!

Aside from her affiliation with NOP, why is it that Shannon generally has a reputation for being a bitch? Im not a US fan so not really familiar with her back story - she kind of exudes an aura of unpleasantness, but is there anything else?
