Was thinking exact same thing. He feels this good at Manza - he gets under 2:00

Kipchoge just looked at his watch and the cadence went up, he's going for it. Just hit the 39K mark.

Please just ban this scorpion runner, your are talking trash already for days, starting with maurten energy drinks and ending with shoes.
Ban me for what?
For having opinion?
Not my problem if you don’t agree. I don’t agree with high sugary drinks and I don’t support 4 percent vaporflies.
Are you mentally disabled?
Kipchoge is going to run the first 2:01:xx

No I just hate trash talking. Having questions is ok, but trash talking is not.

Lisa Hahner. She and her twin Anna are pretty known in the marathon scene, they have pretty big marketing operation going on. Many (or some) people dislike them for that.

Yep. He's a bada**.
That perfect form. He just makes it look easy. Even now, at 39.57k. Sheesh.

Amazing to watch this happen
I'm calling it: the new WR is 2:01

Sub 2:02 is out of the question. At 5k to go he needs a 14:40 for the WR. He'll make it, but not by that much.
Still, it's an absolutely amazing run!
Huh??? This isn't some newbie running out there. He's almost surely got it!
The Breaking 2 experience has made him fearless.
That's the real story. No fear about doing what he's doing right now.
1:50:28 @ 38.24 KM

Bummer, missed his last drink. Better now than a few K ago. Straight to home now!

You're math is off. He needs to average 2:56km the final 3.195km to break 2:02.
=563 seconds/3.195 - 2:56
He hasn't run one over 2:56 since the 14th km of race.
He actually sped up in the second half of the race. Just floored it after going out at 20 seconds under the record.
Feet pooping off the ground, and just looks easy.
Hand cyclist trying to draft off Kipchoge!
....and Eliud drops even the guy on wheels!
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
