Bekele doing his usual deceptive fall back.
You don't want to get gapped by 'the machine', if you plan to be there at the end.
Gap is increasing now!

Adola still looking like he's jogging.
The gap to Bekele developed quickly. Really underwriters the pace the leader are carrying out so far
Either the tracker is reporting incorrectly, or someone else got his chip.
He is a hotshot on the local London scene, but his PR is 2:23ish I think. His half marathon PR is 67, so there is no way he has just improved that by 5 minutes, even if he was just time trialling a shorter distance today.
I'm rooting for Bekele. If anyone can get back to the lead pack, Bekele can do it.

Dunno, but I wish she'd feck off.
Looks like he started to lose contact after the halfway. Then again he reeled in Kipsang last year. Regardless, it's a great effort to run wr pace in those conditions.
Also, kudos to the us guys staying up late/getting up super early just to watch this race, I'm having it easier since it's 9 o'clock in my location, the fans are a great part of this sport.

+1
She got the same treatment last year. We'll see a lot of her as someone mentioned earlier, no helicopter shots of famous landmarks to pad out the coverage.
women half: 69:40
Sub 1:03 for shitara! Damn son!
Predication:
1. Kipchoge win with WR by a few seconds.
2. Kipsang with new PR
3. Adola

FYI - Patrick Sang is the fastest steepler (lifetime best) to ever run NCAAs (for Univ. of Texas)
Rope-a-dope?
Adola looking a bit nervous.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
