I did 8x800 in 2:44, 2:44, 2:40, 2:41, 2:42, 2:40, 2:37, 2:32 with 1:35-1:45 rest in between. It felt very difficult.
5 days later, I did a 20min threshold at 5:57avg followed by 4x150 in 24, 23, 22, 21.5, with 1min rest. The threshold was surprisingly easy, final 5k of 18:26. The 150s were for an injection of speed, and were relaxed.
I have a race coming up this Saturday, so what should I shoot for (in terms of 5000 on track). Thanks!
