Rojo,
"Collegiate" is an adjective. You maybe thinking "collegian?" You really went to Cornell?

I didn't go to Cornell. I went to Princeton. Wasn't even recruited and I have no family connections. Just studied my ass off. I'll change the title. It was typo.
As for the country of origin, I go the results from Race Results Weekly. Citizenship is assumed to be American unless noted.
Now that the WTW is up, I'm perusing through my copy of Race Resulst Weekly and saw some fast times put up in Boston last weekend. 13:50 likely won't get you to NCAAs on the men's side but the women's times should do it.

I don't think we need to specify nationalities for those who are competing as collegians, just for those who are running as pros (i.e. Henry Sterling for NE Distance is USA).
And congrats to Jordan Mann on his huge 47 second PR.
17 second PR for Jordan Mann. Nevertheless, congratulations.
Kirui's 20th position at NCAA XC was no fluke. He's in great shaper right now. I hope that Jack Bruce will be racing in the next few days and also capitalize on his present fitness level.
So? Jason Rexing could run 13:55 in trainers.
We do need to specific nationalities for collegians, as there are American Collegiate Records, etc. Thank you.

What part of the results come like that didn't you understand? He just cut and paste this from somewhere else. It's not like he added the countries.
Who gives a shit anyway?

That is, he had no family who were alumni of Princeton. If you think his "family connections" were not part of why he was accepted at PU, you need to think again.
But I could be wrong about that, actually. If his SAT (or his brother's) was 1500+, I'll be glad to learn of that and will correct my impression of the BrosJo's college acceptances.
[Note that will RoJo did not attend Cornell, he did coach there.]

besides Henry Rono's 5k, aren't all the NCAA records held by Americans?

Really?? Are you joking? Who do you think holds the men/women indoor records??
Of the top 10 guys in that race, how many ran cross-country?

I think it is interesting to know the nationalities of the runners. Let's me know how generous a country we are. Also let's me know how difficult it is to compete for scholarship or a spot on a team with so many foreign athletes in the NCAA system. Also let's me know where I need not apply - sadly.
thanks for posting. These are fast times for Indoor in December. Is the track a flat 200m layout?
I wasn't aware that Westphal had more track eligibility. She had a rough finish to her Outdoor season last year. I'd like to see her run to her (considerable) potential this season.
Am I the only one suffering from racing results withdrawal? We're really not going to see any interesting competitions for at least another month. I guess these student athletes need to study for finals and go home to see their families, though :)
Why do you have 5 broke 15:50? Do people actually care about girls? Given that we are all equal I'm really not impressed by 5 girls running some mediocre male times
Fyi, let's = let us

I don't have any "family connections" at Princeton. If by family connections, you mean a father who was successful enough to afford to send me to one of the top private schools in the country - St. Mark's - in HS then I plead guilty. I also need to confess that my father used to give us give Weldon and I math questions in the car when we were little that we'd love to race to answer (You go to seven eleven with $1.15, how much change will you have it you buy 4 Slurpees for 28 cents and three pieces of gum for a penny each?" He also used to motivate us for math competitions when we were kids like it was a sporting event.
Due to this unfairness, Weldon and I won the Dallas city math competition. I plead guilty. I had two great parents.
To be honest, one of the main reasons why I wanted to go to Princeton (and not Yale (dad's school)) was so I wouldn't have to listen to jerkoffs like yourself for the rest of my life say I only got in because of my dad.
Also, to be honest, if you want to continue to pscyhoanlyze me, I think one of the reason why we were attracted to running after college is so we wouldn't have some jerkoff like yourself saying, "Your success is the result of your parents."
In running, you get what you put into it.
Actually, I take that back. Because of our white privilege, Weldon was in a position financially to quit his job and move to Flagstaff to train for the 2000 Trials which is where knocked off nearly 90 seconds from his 10,000 pb and letsrun was founded.
So thanks so much. After a reanalysis of my life, I realize I'm 100% the results of family connections and white privilege. Please tell me what reparations are appropriate.
