I think that the original Adios was the best, then the Adios boost, then the adios 2. Just my personal opinion.

I ordered a pair of Adios Boost and upon receiving them ran to the mailbox in them - my gut said they were too soft/unresponsive so I sent them back.
I just got a pair of boosts and I have the adios 2 also.
the boost is a little softer, which I actually like. but not everyone will. they fit a little different - less glove like. I like the adios 2 fit better - feels more like a racing shoe.
I like the boosts - I've only run 5 miles slow in them - I'll do a tempo wed am and try to remember to update on this thread.
eastbay has a 20% off sale on anything right now - that helps with a 140 dollar shoe
I just picked up a pair of Adios Boost. I was torn between them and the Adios 2 but when with them bc of what I had read. I wore them for a couple 5ks to break them in and than a Marathon. I am not sold on the shoe. It didnt feel very responsive in my opinion. the shoe feels very low profile and close to the ground. There isn't alot of Foam in the forefoot of the shoe and I felt like my feet were taking a pounding. By Mile 20 the bottoms of my feet became sore like I had been running barefoot on rocks. I will keep the shoe and wear them for 5ks and up to the half but if I had to do another marathon I would probably run in the Adios 2.
I just saw a post that Wilson Kipsang said NO to the Adios Boost. Can't find it now. Put me on that list. No to the Adios Boost. Wish Adidas would continue to make the first Adios. That one was really something special.
I've been running in adios boosts for a couple weeks - I also have some adios 2s.
I like the boosts more because I like the feel of the heel better. I like a little cush right under my heel and the adios 2 was always a little too firm for me.
They share a stiff forefoot, which I don't like. I start to slap when I get tired.
The adios boost is not a light shoe tho - I could see people training it. So it is more of a solid racing shoe than most.
I think the fits are similar.
I am thinking about paying out for some energy boosts - I really like the feel of the heel in the adios boosts - just right for me.
For the record, I did an hour long race in the adios boost today- in 25 degree snow. I completely believe that the boost midsole is better in the cold. They felt bouncy and great even after being in the cold for 90 minutes incl warmup and cool down.
