Very nice even pacing for Hall, 4:39 pace. Hopefully a fast Marathon is in his future. |

Brilliant run by Hall! |

And for those criticizing the selection of Max King, he ran bravely as well, in 1h00' and change. |

And, due to a travel boondoggle, King didn't even get a full day of rest before the race. Does anyone know where the full results are? |

Hall was in the 10k results as well, with a 29:00. |

Ryan Hall didn't just break the American Record as he killed it by almost a fullminute (48 seconds). Ryan took aim at the record pistol whipped it, shot it, beat it alittle more for good measure, and then layed it to rest! The only person who ran their last 5km faster than Ryan Hall was the first place runner Zersenay Tadesse. |

Only 2 runners were capable of producing sub 14:40 last 5km Tadesse Z. (Eri) 14:14 CHAMPION Ryan H (USA) 14:29- 11th place Ryan ran a great race time wise but make you wonder if he should stayed alittle closer to the leaders? |

Just playing off a comment on another thread declaring Cabada to be the 'new Ritz' |
| Sir Lance-alot |

Damn........ Ritz can't get a break. First Webb beats him at 10k, so he moves to 1/2 marathon. Now Hall is faster at converted 1/2 marathon! (and based on Webb's 10k and cross, one might think Webb could run near what Hall and Ritz has for 1/2 marathon) . Poor Ritz. Some overexcited people are talking him up as a future gold medalist, but he can't even beat the best of his HS Class at 10k/1/2 marathon! Looks like the marathon truly IS his last refuge! :-) (obvioulsy I am having a small bit of fun at Ritz's expense. All these guys are running some great times the last few seasons. But I think a lot of people must be surprised that Hall and Webb are running as fast or faster at 10k, 12k cross, and 1/2 marathon as Ritz has. ) |
