Just wondering where alistair craig has been this year, because I haven't heard much about him since he pulled that upset in Bekele indoors.

you know, for a guy who is as "famous" on this board as cragg, it sure seems like a lot of people can't wrap their head around the fact that his name doesn't include an 'i.' i would have expected his first name to cause more trouble than his last.
anyway, he's been left off the irish WC team because of injury, a stress fracture in his back which he's been struggling with since his excellent performance at euro indoors in the 3K. i don't believe he's raced since then (which was march).
Usually racing really well indoors means you will run like crap at the end of the outdoor season.
that's more true in college, when the indoor and outdoor seasons are so close together (coupled with the xc season), than in the professional world where indoor/xc and outdoor are quite separate seasons.
Yeah right. get a clue chuck D
you find it hard to peak in march and then peak again in august? bekele, kipchoge, shaheen, and everyone else who ran in world xc don't seem to have much trouble with that one.
