No. Kipchoge will go home DEVASTATED.

How much is he getting paid for this? I suspect that either way, he goes home pretty f*cking happy. He already has the legit WR. This is pure icing. No, bossman will never be anywhere close to devastated at this point in his career.
He has a 50/50 chance.
If I'm honest, no.
Not now.
Do I hope like heck that I'm wrong? Will I watch the entire thing, screaming at my TV like a lunatic when it looks like it's getting tough to somehow vicariously help him out?
ABSOLUTELY.

You'd be surprised by how much he actually cares about this.
He's already well off financially. He doesn't care about the money.
He wants to prove that its possible.
I’m saying yes...1:59:42
Think if the massive pressure on his shoulders. This is going to be amazing. Kipchoge’s ability exceeds what the standard marathon and his competitors can offer. His current ability needs a special venue to test his motor. If he was simply going to Berlin or to Chicago this would be boring to watch, but an all out time trial is way more impressive than a jog around Berlin.
Hell Yeah !
And I'll be there to cheer him on at the top of my voice, 8 times too.

On the third attempt Nike should set up a corridor of hay bales stacked about 5 high and follow Kipchoge with a car with a fan on it blowing at about 30 mph.
I don't think this sub 2 event is as illegitimate as people make out.
Kipchoge will be running with pacemakers. Same set up in which many of your favourite stars ran PBs on the track.
I am 100% confident that Kipchoge will break 2 this time.
If conditions are right, I think he'll break it easily. He was only 25 seconds short on his first attempt. 1:59 low.
Why is no one (ever) asking if Kipchoge is clean??? He can’t be right? Even though we all want him to be?
Um, no. Because then they would just say “Yes, of course there’s a God.” But then they would have no way to prove it. And they’d be very passionate, and they’d insist, and they’d yell about it, and get very angry and tell me I’m stupid and ignorant. Oh... I get it now.
Yes he will. I think as he gets older, he also get better at running. Understanding technique and mechanics better of the motion. So even though he is now 54 years old, he is better than everyone else. And I think this will continue for many decades. I predict he will run sub 1 hour marathon in 30 years when he is 84.

Didn’t some mad scientist mentioned that the theoretical limit of a perfect human in perfect condition can run a 1:57:58 marathon from the breaking 2 documentary? Kipchoge should break that time instead! 1:57:25?
Here's your mad scientist.

https://youtu.be/c6FS3D4a_kA?t=347He will break it in October. But good thing is Bekele will take his Berlin throne!!! YEAH BOI. Only real races matter. #1love

Still don't believe we will see a sub-2 in a regular marathon race unless they get superhuman pacemakers. But as history shows usually pacemakers have hard time to keep the Kipchoge's pace even for half the distance.
Can get close to 2 in a regular marathon. You don’t need superhuman pacemakers to break 2 in a regular marathon. You need a marathon like what they do in Vienna, or 5-6 big loops with two differences than this attempt.
1. all pacemakers begin at the same time but for each loop a different group will actually pace and the others will run slow so kipchoge catches up with them till their “turn”.
2. There is no car very close by ahead that sets the pace.
This is legal as all pacemakers start at the same time.

Because the moderators won't allow it. We can question Bolt but not Kipchoge.
Missed it by 25 seconds in Monza so I think he'll do it this time.
Can see his Berlin record standing for quite some time as there currently isn't a marathon runner on the planet at his level.
This is a good idea. I wonder if the breaking 2 or ineos have considered it? This will also answer how much does the Tesla helps.
